The weather in France can vary depending on the landscape. In various parts of the country the temperature level is quite different. So make sure you have checked the weather forecast when you travel France. You may go skiing in the Alps while somebody is resting on the sand beaches of Cannes. Boarding with the Mediterranean sea in the south provides a mild, warm climate at this region of the country.

Though in the region consisting of Auvergne, Burgundy and the Rhone Valley may be very strong winds. Generally the weather in France is very changeable all the year round, but it is good for some districts of the country according to their climate. The first of them are Northern and Northwestern France that is situated near the Belgium and its temperature the most equal with English one: rainy and snowy winters and cool summer. The other district is Southwestern France that include Bordeaux with its wine production. The climate there is wet, but warm and sunny, so the grapes grow excellently. The next region is Central and Eastern France, that contains Paris and Lyon.

There may be much rains in the summer, but on the whole the weather is quiet fine for spending the days outside without feeling cold or too hot. The next region is for those who admire hot sun and warm sea, it is the Mediterranean Coast and Corsica. Though its the hottest region of all others in France, Corsica is a mountainous island and you may find snow on the highest level even during its warm spring. The Mountainous Regions may be called the coldest and the wettest ones, and its a good place for those who enjoy winter kind of sports such as skiing and snowboarding. The Jura and Alps along the borders with Switzerland and Italy just a right place for these types of activities.
